HTC Sensation XL or Samsung Galaxy Note - The Big Screen Decision


There are two new smart phones has recently announced that Samsung and HTC, which offer significantly higher shows a touch screen than most other models, the new HTC Sensation and Samsung Galaxy XL Note both were on the verge of tablet sized devices but praise smart phone features.

HTC Sensation XL is very close to be a Windows version of the Android powered HTC Titan, which offers a 4.7 inch touch screen, while the top note Samsung Galaxy with industry leading 5.3-inch screen, we take a closer look at both of these new devices to see which one comes out on top.

The touch screen resolutions competition goes to the Galaxy note with 800 x 1200 pixels, Super AMOLED screen of HTC's 480 x 800 pixel display that ended the Gorilla glass for extra protection.

Both of these new Android phones come pre-loaded with 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, but only the Samsung model is confirmed to receive updates on the newer Android 4.0 OS known as Ice Cream Sandwich after being released.

This does not mean that HTC will not get the newer software, because it can be released further down the line, the new system will be introduced first in the latest Google phone, the Samsung Nexus Galaxy, before any other model will be allowed pick up the update.

When it comes to overall dimensions Sensation XL is smaller and lighter model of two measuring 133 x 71 x 10 mm and weighing 163g Galaxy against the majority of the note on 146 x 83 x 10 mm and weighing 170g, this is mainly due to higher screen Samsung models, but not for a phone.

HTC Sensation XL also wins when it comes to audio capabilities with Beats audio technology as standard, this makes for an advanced listening experience over headphones and external speakers.

In conclusion, note Samsung Galaxy offers a total of superior specification, but is more expensive to buy the device, HTC, many fans will always opt for the XL Sensation purely because they enjoy the HTC Sense user interface design and other mobile phone manufacturer.
