My Two Days With the Awesome MSI GT660 Gaming Laptop

I finally got my hands on the MSI GT660 gaming laptop, and no, it's not my ... more. I borrowed this system for two days from a friend (not an easy task), and here is my experience with this extraordinary machine.

MSI is proving to be a trusted name in the arena of gaming laptops. This machine is built and purposely with the hardware and stylish look you will not be annoying to a LAN party. This laptop will not fall into everyone's taste, but with a distinctive light on the outside and glowing MSI logo, it certainly makes a statement. Many glossy surfaces are mixed with matte black to add aesthetic Knight Rider, according to MSI. Touch-sensitive LED work quite well to activate and deactivate features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and others.

laptop has some very powerful speakers for the laptop. This has produced a nice depth of sound while listening to an MP3 music through the built subwoofer on the bottom of the laptop. I prefer to play with headphones so the speaker of the laptop is not so important for laptop me.This sport 16 inch monitor, and although not the largest available is very effective. It does not help to make the weight down, but I will say that this laptop can be called portable. The screen is slightly reflective and has a resolution of 1366x768 pixels.

It is easier to carry than a full desktop system, but still 7.4 pounds to carry. Interestingly, MSI did not opt for a backlit keyboard option. This could be a nice feature since most LAN poorly svijetle.Svrha this laptop is clearly just glancing at the keyboard: WASD, arrow keys 8462 are colored red, which corresponds to most of the games given the keys to effective kretanje.Tipkovnica and has a nice feel to it.

PerformanceBuilt to play, MSI added a 1.6-GHz Intel Core i7 Q720 CPU and 6GB of RAM. This gives it enough power to be very useful for some vrijeme.GT660 also sports two 7200-rpm hard drives, for a total of 1 TB of storage. Interesting enough this is one of the first laptop I've seen that has a USB 3.0, although I was able to test your speed.

Of course the biggest question remains: how to handle the game? Includes NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 000 000 graphics card with 1 GB dedicated memory has led to an impressive 3DMark06 score of 12,633. This translated to a very enjoyable gaming experience. I only had a few games to test, but they all played very well. Batman: Arkham Asylum played extremely well at 1024x768 with 52 fps. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare achieve more than 110 fps at the same resolution. At higher resolutions, gameplay does not suffer, but since I usually play in this decision, I was impressed.

VerdictWill I buy? I would say that money itself. This is a very nice laptop. It can run very hot and use it in the womb has become very uncomfortable. MSI deals with this problem by adding the ability to boost the fan speed (and noise) with Cooler technology initiative, but it is best to use this laptop on the table. This laptop is pretty expensive, but it does add some flair to the LAN gaming for those with deeper pockets. Nobody will laugh at you when you arrive at the party with this beast.
