Asus Eee PC 1005PE Vs Dell Inspiron Mini 1011 Netbook



Both netbook currently some of the newest and most popular models on the market. While both 10.1-inch netbook, I have to say that where the similarity ends. Both of these netbooks have very different features and catered to different segments tržišta.Asus Eee PC 1005P can be regarded as a high-end netbook, while the Dell Inspiron Mini 1011 the entry-level model.

Dell Inspiron Mini 1011 Netbook comes with a set of basic glasses that include Intel Atom N270 processor, 160GB of storage and 1GB of DDR2 RAM. Other features include 802.11b / g Wi-Fi, a 1.3MP web cam, and 4 USB ports. Design wise, the Dell netbook sports classic and professional design. Like many Dell computers, Dell mini comes in different colors. The battery on this model can take up to 8 hours on a single charge.

Asus Eee PC 1005P on the other hand comes with a new (energy efficient) Intel Atom N450 processor. It is 1 GB of RAM and a larger 250GB hard drive. Then there are other options such as Bluetooth, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi long battery life. This netbook can last up to a whopping 14 hours on one charge. It sports the Asus "shell" design (along with the chicklet style keyboard) that looks very elegant. Both netbooks come with the new Windows 7 Starter OS.Asus Eee PC 1005P is currently priced at around $ 367, while the Dell model is about $ 70 cheaper. I think that $ 70 is a small price to pay for a 14-hour battery life, larger 250GB hard drive and additional features.
