A Review of the Asus Eee PC 1005P Netbook

Released in the early part of 2010, Eee PC 1005P is a brilliant netbook from Asus, one of the world's major computer manufacturers, and the world's largest manufacturer of computer motherboards. We tested the Asus 1005P for a few weeks, and have found that a very fast start - so much so, that we never used to start ASUS fast system that is loaded with netbook.Ukupni build a solid, 1024x600 screen is very clear indeed, and the keyboard is very comfortable for daily use. This is very similar to Asus 1005P -. In fact it is identical, except for the hard disk, which is standard on the 160 GB 1005P compared to 250 GB in 1005P

battery life is really great, lasts all day without recharging, and because it is so small that just slips into a pocket or purse when any family member should be izvaditi.Isporučenim charger is smaller than many rivals, as this is an excellent choice for travel.

internal speaker is not that brilliant - fine for occasional use, and loud enough to hear, but not very high quality. Having said that, what can you expect from a device this size? I've never heard of any laptop descriptions sound great, and when you realize that every speaker is a 10 pence piece, it is not surprising.

built-in webcam works well as a microphone, and the Asus comes with Skype already loaded, which saves some time when postavljanje.Tipkovnica about 80% full-sized models, but it has its price - the keys themselves are small, and if like me you have big hands, you can find this problem, although none of the critical keys are tiny and over one of our testers found it uncomfortable to use.

wireless is good and no problems connecting to our wireless network without problems. As a means of access to the Internet can not be blamed, and users are asked not to say no problems streaming music or Facebook, Hotmail or YouTube.

small screen can be tedious to navigate through a website, but it is something that is used for, and can reduce the size of the display page trackpad.Trackpad works quite well, but it is small and as such is very hard to use for a long time, especially in the left and right buttons are awkwardly positioned right at the front of the chassis. I much prefer a mouse, so equipped with a wireless one that transforms a netbook, although it does not tie up a USB port.

good points:

  • Fantastic battery
  • clear screen
  • Very light
  • Great looking netbook
  • Superb wireless card
  • Fast and the corresponding
  • fair price

bad points:

  • No HD screen
  • Only available in black or white case
  • N450 chip boosts performance only small differences

Asus 1005P will cost more than the Dell Mini 10 but some team members think that it looks much nicer and more up to date chip set. Verdict 4 / 5
