Intel failed to Instill chips in Smart TV



CALIFORNIA-Intel Corp, the world's largest chip maker, finally had to give up for installing the processor into television after failing to convince TV producers.



Before giving up convincing the producers TV, Intel has manyanggupi that they are able to provide a chip that performs significantly different from its rivals.



"But it turns out that Intel's bid failed to convince the TV manufacturers such as Samsung Electronic or Sony Corp," said analysts at Williams Financial Group, Cody Acree.



According to Intel spokesperson, Claudine Mangano, ultimately Intel plan to focus on a tablet computer. "This is a business decision, which we use resources that exist and apply it as a priority for the company," said Mangano.



As reported by Bloomberg, Tuesday (12/10/2011), Intel decided that the engineers at Digital Home Group later, should focus more on the tablet, smartphone and new types of laptops, Intel called as Ultrabooks. Processor Intel itself has run more than 80 percent of PCS around the world.



Intel initially tried to reduce his dependency on personal computers. Before deciding to stop his plan, Intel gets orders from Comcast Corp. (CMCSA), the largest cable company in the United States and also with some European television service providers. Not only that, Intel has been supplying chips for Google TV from Google made by Sony Corp. and Logitech International SA.



Comcast will use Intel's products on TV Xfinitynya, which will offer improved on screen navigation, search and other programs.
