I just finished reading "Ideas for youth in information technology," Diane Lindsey Reeves. As the owner of a website that focuses on teen jobs I am well read on the subject. This book is part of a series of books about specific careers that teens can explore. I have mixed reviews on the books. I thought it was well researched and well written, but I do not think there was enough substance. It is my opinion that the author uses a lot of filler to fill knjigu.Knjiga also seems to be written for a general audience, not really specifically for teen audiences. There was a lot of technical terms and information. It almost felt to me that she is writing a book for people who are already in the information technology industry.
Do not get me wrong, the book has solid information and explain the various activities dobro.Knjiga also did a good job in holding my attention through the use of real stories of people in this career polju.Najbolji part of the book, but in fact only part of the book indeed it was aimed at young people's questionnaire exercises that are intended to assist in the process of career planning. After going through the training career of research and will be able to determine if a job in information technology will be right for you.
In the end, I felt the book had some bright spots, but overall I was impressed.
